Senge

Our beloved Senge is our first King in our cattery. We chose the name Senge, because it is Tibetan for "Lion," specifically, a snow lion in Tibetan mythology.

The Snow Lions exude youthful energy, featuring a cheerful disposition and a coat of pristine white fur. Within Buddhism, they hold the esteemed role of guardians to Buddhas. In artistic representations like sculptures and paintings, Snow Lions are often portrayed as providing support to the thrones of various Buddhist deities, symbolizing the resilience and bravery inherent in Buddhas.

Our Senge is the first to greet guests at our door, and has never been afraid of anything that our other cats our fearful us (we often have to physically move him when vacuuming because he is not phased one bit!). He loves everyone he meets, and is one of the most comfortable, relaxed, and unbothered cats we have.
He may not have a turquoise mane like the mythological snow lion of Tibet, but his eyes certainly carry that legacy forward. His eyes are one of the deepest blue we've seen, and he has beautiful white paws and a slight seal point coloring with his white/cream fur. Beyond that, he is a big boy. All of these traits are available to pass down to his offspring, and any of these noble, fun, and beautiful traits can manifest into one of his kittens to add to your family!

Shaman

Shaman is a traditional color male with beautiful mottled tabby coloration, white paws, and a large build. He is our largest cat, and has champions in his bloodline. He is very friendly with people, and actually loves water! He gets a "good boy bath" every month and is always very affectionate with us during and afterward, and if he finds his way into the bathroom while a family member is showering, he will often try to join them! No doubt his kittens will exhibit many of these traits!
Shaman lives like the king of the house and often spends his time relaxing in one of his favorite areas, so he may not be the first at the door for those who visit the house. However, he never complains about coming down to greet guests upon request. If you are visiting or choosing one of his kittens, you are welcome to tell us "we want to meet Shaman!" He will be happy to join us.
